Hudson Valley Play Spaces and Trampoline Parks for Birthday Parties

Billy Beez – West Nyack

From a ball pit to slides and tunnels for kids to explore, this 25,000-square-foot space in the Palisades Mall is made for birthday parties. There are three different packages to choose from, all of which allow for time in the private party room. Another perk? If the kids haven’t had their fill by the time the party is over, they can continue to play in the play space for the rest of the day.

Mid-Hudson Discovery Museum – Poughkeepsie

Have a long guest list? Take note: The Mid-Hudson Discovery Museum, which has lots of great kid-friendly exhibits, has a party option for up to 60 guests where you’ll have the entire two-floor museum to yourself. Staff will set up tables and chairs and you bring food, drinks, and other paper products you’ll need. There are add-ons as well, like science experiments. Of course, there are also options for smaller parties—including for up to 20 kids.

The Castle Fun Center – Chester

With so much to do at this center—we’re talking everything from rides to go-karts—there’s no doubt that the birthday parties offer just as much entertainment. You can choose from three indoor parties: laser tag, Inflatapark (think: lots of bounce houses, including a toddler area) and Ballocity, a play structure with lots of ball pits and more. Options are specific to the type of party you choose, but all include hosts, pizza, and more.

Bounce! – Valley Cottage

There are two party package options at this 12,000-square-foot trampoline park—both of which include time on the many trampolines, plus arcade credit. If you opt for the larger package, kids will also be able to try their hand at the rock wall and spend time in the arcade. (If you’re looking to save, consider booking a party on a weekday, when the price goes down.) There’s also a Bounce location in Poughkeepsie that offers a specific party package for the toddler and preschool set.

Sports, Dance, and Games Birthday Party Places

Contender eSports Gaming Center – Wappingers Falls

Budding gamers will be able to play their favorite games and hang with up to 20 of their friends at this venue, which offers two different birthday party packages. The room is already equipped with consoles—and both packages include pizza and favors.

The Dance & Music Design School – Cornwall

Kids can dance their hearts out at this Cornwall studio, which offers lots of different theme options to choose from, like hip hop, rock star, or Angelina Ballerina—all run by a teacher. The venue also provides all the party essentials, including invitations, music, balloons, paper goods, and more.

Hudson Sports Complex – Warwick

There are lots of ways to personalize your kids’ party at this Warwick sports spot, from themed decorations (superhero, Disney, etc.) to face painting and balloon artists to a pretzel machine. Plus, your kid can pick as many as three sports to play during the party, including options like soccer, dodgeball, flag football, and relay races.

Crafts, Beauty, Baking, and Sleepover Birthday Party Fun in the Hudson Valley

Slime World – West Nyack

Kids will be all in on a birthday party at this Palisades Mall hotspot, where they’ll have two hours to focus on all things slime. That includes making two different types of the sticky stuff, along with choosing from beads, charms, and other mix-ins to add—topping it off with some fun in the photo booth.

Glitter & Glam – West Nyack

If your kid or tween loves getting dolled up, consider a party at this Palisades Mall salon—which is focused entirely on kids. There are lots of different party options to choose from, including “Princess in the Making,” which includes costumes and glittery makeup, and “Glam Pampered Diva”, where kids can do mini manicures, pedicures, and facials. Prefer parties with a few close friends? There are also “mini” options, like the “BFF Package” for up to 5 kids.

Vincent’s Eat Paint Love Studio – Beacon

Artsy kids will love a paint-focused party. Here, the birthday kid picks what they want to paint, and then a professional instructs the guests on how to create a masterpiece. Parties run for two hours and are private—and you can add on everything from more time to things like face painting and cupcake decorating.

River Valley Arts Center – Wappingers Falls

There are many fun birthday themes at this art studio—from a beading party to cooking, cookie decorating, and even a glow dance party. Prices vary depending on the theme but generally run for three hours and include pizza, paper goods, and more.
