1. H Street Country Club — Washington, DC

This massive Mexican restaurant and bar also offers shuffleboard, Skee-Ball, arcade games, yard games like giant Jenga blocks, and—you guessed it—indoor mini golf. The nine-hole mini golf course is themed with DC landmarks, such as the Washington Monument and the Lincoln Memorial. Saturdays before 3pm is the time for families to visit; otherwise, it's for ages 21 and up only. Kids will love the tacos, nachos, and wings, as well as the triple chocolate chip cookies with ice cream for dessert.

2. Monster Mini Golf — Chantilly and Stafford, VA; Gaithersburg, Columbia, and Towson, MD

At Monster Mini Golf, families can play 18 holes of miniature golf with interactive monsters all under the glow of spooky black lights. Kids love all of the glow-in-the-dark decor, though the recommended age is 5 and up. All of the locations also have additional attractions such as arcades, laser mazes, laser tag, virtual reality, bowling, and more. Check the website for exact offerings at each location.

3. Scary Strokes — Waldorf, MD

Scary Strokes is a ghost-, ghouls-, and monster-themed 18-hole indoor mini golf course immersed in black lights and creepy glow-in-the-dark decor. The recommended golfer age is 4 and up, but note that—true to its name—the course can get a little spooky! Scary Strokes also has an arcade, a virtual-reality gaming area, and a concessions area. It's open every day except Monday, except when schools are closed on Mondays.

The 18-hole course includes CGI effects and cool settings like underwater prehistoric creatures, a dinosaur research lab, a stegosaurus feeding ground, and—last but not least—a Tyrannosaurus rex. There's also a small arcade with 20 games and the opportunity to win prizes. Jurassic Golf is closed Mondays and Tuesdays.

5. ShadowLand Laser Adventures — Alexandria, VA

In addition to its signature laser tag, laser maze, and arcade, ShadowLand has the Dark Tower, an interactive black-light glow golf course. The mini golf course has cool features like ancient castle passageways, dragons, wizards, and bubbling cauldrons. If your child likes knights, this is the indoor mini golf course for you!
