Taste the Rainbow with These Pride-Themed Desserts in NYC for a Limited-Time Only

In June, NYC bakeries and restaurants whip up rainbow-adorned desserts to celebrate Pride. These special snacks are delicious, photogenic, and made to show support and spread joy.
From glittery cupcakes to rainbow milkshakes, there’s something to suit every sweet tooth. Bonus: Sales of several of these limited-edition sweets support local LGBTQ community organizations.

Limited-Edition NYC Sweet Treats: Pride 2025
1. Ellen’s Stardust Diner – Midtown West
Ellen's serves slices of its signature rainbow cake ($12) and a limited-time Over the Rainbow milkshake ($22) to celebrate Pride. Throughout June, 20 percent of sales of Ellen’s Pride-themed menu items go to the nonprofit Broadway Inspirational Voices (BIV), a choir and service organization.
2. Baked by Melissa – Various Locations
Baked by Melissa offers several Pride-themed mini-cupcake specials, including its Pride Cupkakes (starting at $37), which come in six colorful flavors and are wrapped in a rainbow sleeve. Have a bigger celebration in mind? The bakery also sells a 100-pack of Pride rainbow cupcakes this month ($135).
3. William Greenberg Deserts – Upper East Side, Upper West Side
Venerable uptown bakery William Greenberg sells Pride-themed black & white cookies ($40.50) in a rainbow of colors this month. Also on offer: A gorgeous rainbow cake (from $45).
4. Billy’s Bakery – Chelsea, Tribeca, Upper East Side
In June, Billy's Bakery rolls out its Pride cupcakes ($66 for a dozen), which feature rainbow sprinkles and a heart-shaped sugar decoration. Other colorful Pride treats include the confetti cookie ($1.50 each) and custom-decorated sugar cookies ($75 for a dozen), which can be adorned with your Pride message or decoration of choice.
5. Padoca – Upper East Side
Padoca, which has two UES locations, rolls out Pride mini cupcakes ($36) and a Pride cake ($72) only in June. It also has colorful rainbow sugar cookies and an Over the Rainbow cake available year-round.
